Come and celebrate the arrivals of Jennifer Carroll's Princess Aislinn, Monica Livesay's Basketball All-Star & Emmaly Renshaw's Little Stud. Each of the babies will have a "Piggy Bank" available for gift cards or money if you wish to contribute to their shower gift. If you are able to help with the shower/party, please let me know! Also, to those who would like to come and don't know Jennifer, Emmaly or Monica very well, come anyway and don't feel obligated to bring a gift. This is also a way to get to know each other. Hope to see you there!

Saftey!

I have herd about so many incidents with child abduction, and predators in the last week. I was asked to post just a Reminder that we need to watch our Children carefully!! Also be aware and report anything suspicious.

Here is a link to a peanut butter recall. I herd on the news last night that thousands of peanut butter crackers cookies are contaminated. 6 cases in Texas. Sarah thought it would be wise to pass this info on.

Crock-pot Recipes

I love to cook with my crock-pot and I am always looking for new recipes to fix for my family. Do any of you sisters have a favorite slow cooker recipe you would like to share? Here is one of my favorites ( I don't even have a name for it)

1 pork tenderloin
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can golden mushroom
1 can french onion soup

mix the soups in the crock and add the tenderloin. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. The pork will become very tender and will make a gravy. I serve it over rice. The family loves it!!!

Aloe vera plants

I have a bunch of aloe starter plants if anyone is interested. They are super easy to take care of, no green thumb needed. If anything they are great to have on on hand for buns and they are low maintenance.

Aloe Plant care
  • full to partial sun
  • pot or ground
  • inside or outside
  • stick them in, water the first week and then forget about them
  • multiply quickly, but easy to get rid of if needed

I have had mine a year and my big ones started to bloom (who knew)?

Just call and stop by the house, if no one wants them, they will be taking a trip to the compost pile. 281-990-8389
