Dust of those running shoes

Grab and sister and join us! This is not only for runners, there will be plenty of joggers and walkers. The route is 3.5 miles (5K). If that is an uninviting number, you are welcome to jump in and walk or run the last mile from the League City Library. There are sidewalks almost the whole way and the first mile has lots of shaded areas.

Date: Monday May 30st.
Starting time 7:45am

Starting Place: League City Church of Christ - 1801 East Main Street

(we'll meet in the back of the parking lot or she said we could park in the burned down funeral home parking lot next door).
Ending Place: Ward Pancake Breakfast - League City Sportsplex

ROUTE MAP

We exit the back of the parking lot onto Texas (no sidewalk on Texas, under 1/4 mile), turn right (west onto Walker). Continue on Walker thru hwy 3, past the library and civic buildings and down to 96. Cross 96 to the Sportsplex (there is no sidewalk the last few hundred yards in front of the Sportsplex).

We Need Your Stuff!!!

The League City/Kemah Young Women will be having a garage sale on June 17th and 18th as a camp fundraiser. We are looking for any donations. If you have anything you want to get rid of, if you can store it for us until the week of the sale, that would be ideal. If you absolutely need to get rid of it, we still want it! Please contact Marby McKinney marby.mckinney@gmail.com to make arrangements for donations. Thank you for your support.
