Crock-pot Recipes
I love to cook with my crock-pot and I am always looking for new recipes to fix for my family. Do any of you sisters have a favorite slow cooker recipe you would like to share? Here is one of my favorites ( I don't even have a name for it)
1 pork tenderloin
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can golden mushroom
1 can french onion soup
mix the soups in the crock and add the tenderloin. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. The pork will become very tender and will make a gravy. I serve it over rice. The family loves it!!!

Aloe vera plants
I have a bunch of aloe starter plants if anyone is interested. They are super easy to take care of, no green thumb needed. If anything they are great to have on on hand for buns and they are low maintenance.Aloe Plant care
- full to partial sun
- pot or ground
- inside or outside
- stick them in, water the first week and then forget about them
- multiply quickly, but easy to get rid of if needed
I have had mine a year and my big ones started to bloom (who knew)?
Just call and stop by the house, if no one wants them, they will be taking a trip to the compost pile. 281-990-8389

Just thought I'd share...
I just wanted to share the link to a little money-saving blog I have: THE FRUGAL HOUSE.
A while ago I had started posting the occasional post about saving money or using coupons on my personal blog. While several of my friends liked it, my family members weren't interested (all they want are pictures and videos of Charlie). My younger brother even said he was boycotting my blog until the coupon posts stopped. LOL. So I moved them over to a new blog.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share it in case any of you are interested!
(And now you all know this embarrassing fact about me: I am a coupon junkie. I get 3 different newspapers delivered every Sunday - for the coupons - and I am that annoying lady in front of you at the grocery store holding up the line because of my stack of 500 coupons. But, I've been able to cut our grocery spending by more than half over the past several months while at the same time building up our year's supply...or at least our few-month's supply, since our apartment can't really hold a year's supply.)
